The 2025/26 winter tour is behind us, and it was once again a true highlight of the goalkeeping season. Intensive training days, strong groups, and top-notch facilities resulted in high-level goalkeeping skills. Above all, the energy and motivation of the young keepers made this tour special.

Compact, intensive and focused
The winter tour took place at numerous locations from December 27th to January 5th, 2026. Each goalkeeper camp lasted two days, running from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM daily. This compact format allowed for intensive yet focused training, specifically targeting the most important aspects of modern goalkeeping.
A total of 21 goalkeeper camps were held, with over 600 goalkeepers aged 8 to 17 participating. They were coached by more than 100 goalkeeper trainers, who demonstrated a high level of expertise and great passion. Training was consistently conducted in groups of no more than five to ensure individual attention and to optimally adapt the sessions to the skill level of the children and teenagers. The camps took place in modern indoor soccer facilities in Germany and Austria, which offered perfect conditions for structured winter training.
International coaching team
As in previous years, this winter tour had a strong international focus. Greek coach Nikolaos Gemenetzis was at our camp in Rostock, bringing valuable international perspectives. In Vienna, Serbian goalkeeping coach Dušan Stoiljković worked with the keepers, while Ivan Benko from Croatia was on the pitch in both Vienna and Ritzing. In Cologne, Davit Gurashvili from Georgia joined the coaching team, providing additional expertise.

Proven locations and strong premieres
Many camp locations proved successful last year and were once again very well received. At the same time, there were several successful premieres. With the 360 Football Arena in Oberembach near Zurich, a location in Switzerland was included in the winter tour for the first time, and our first winter goalkeeper camp there was completely booked out. Also new this year were the Sportpark Erfurt and the Sportcenter Kenn in Trier, which offered ideal conditions for intensive goalkeeper training.
The 2025/26 winter tour has once again demonstrated the effectiveness of short, focused training formats in small groups.
